Recognize. Respond. Connect.

Good intentions need practical preparation.

Your leaders, staff, and volunteers care deeply about the people they serve. But when someone is facing trauma, a mental health challenge, substance use, or a personal crisis, caring does not always make the next step clear.

Driven for Change helps your team recognize concerns earlier, begin difficult conversations, respond appropriately, and connect people with the help they need.

The goal is not to turn your team into counselors. It is to help them become more confident, compassionate, and prepared.

Prepare to Make a Difference

Training shaped by real experience.

Michael Uptegraff understands that difficult situations rarely come with simple answers.

His work has placed him alongside people leaving incarceration, completing addiction treatment, navigating the court system, rebuilding their careers, and working toward a more stable future.

His approach is also shaped by his own experiences with childhood trauma, a 20-year career in the United States Navy, years of community service, and the hope he found through Jesus Christ.

Michael brings practical education, lived experience, and genuine compassion into every room. He creates a setting where people can ask honest questions, confront difficult subjects, and leave better prepared to serve the people around them.
